Milestones

Thanks to my highschool art teacher, the aged take on a new light. Her expressive rants about the beauty in the new lines formed on the face as we age really set in with me and since then I've found myself drawn towards society's antiquated members. From figure drawing I understand and appreciate lines on the face, and have recently developed more of an obsession rather than an appreciation of the aged.
however, let us celebrate all the walks of life from the beginning to the end by juxtaposing the new with the old in equality and in tantamount affections..

[Jesse Charles Massingill-92, Colby Weston McBride-6 months.]

I choose to edit this one in a way that emphasizes the lines and aging in the face because i think the character of the lines adds character to the piece.
